Movikit Guide
Movikit is a gift that turns kids into movie directors; it guides beginner creatives to transform their phone videos and photos into entertaining keepsake films. To bring Movikit to life, the creator needed a step-by-step guide in a storyboard layout that taught the essentials of production, gear setup, and editing in a way that felt approachable and fun.
I imagined the video gear as lively characters, giving the booklet a sense of personality and momentum that kept kids engaged and eager to keep creating. Starting with pencil sketches, I refined the illustrations digitally and then wove them into the final layout in Adobe InDesign. The result? A playful, instructive guide that inspires kids to tell their stories, one movie at a time.
